Peter Raven

One of the world's leading botanists and advocates of conservation and biodiversity, Dr. Raven is president of the Missouri Botanical Garden and George Engelmann Professor of Botany at Washington University in St. Louis. In addition, Dr. Raven is Chair of the National Geographic Society's Committee for Research and Exploration as well as Chair of the Division of Earth and Life Studies of the National Research Council in the U.S.
