These tenacious and fearless predators ranging from the size of a mouse to that of a small bear are found in nearly every type of terrestrial habitat on earth – as well as many aquatic.  Weasels and their fellow boogle (a group of weasels) of mustelids are the largest and most diverse family of the carnivores. They prey on a vast variety of animals and even use tools!  Modern forms are amazing enough, but ancient fossil forms are even more varied and extreme.  Join Chris Stinson, Curatorial Assistant of Mammals at the Beaty Biodiversity Museum, as he uncovers his favourite group of mammals.

This is part of the Way Cool Biodiversity Series.
