Bring the whole family for Kids Take Over UBC, an awesome arts festival right here on campus. On February 16th, celebrate Family Day weekend with children taking on adult-sized roles in museums, art galleries, and more. This event will be packed with activities that your young ones are sure to love.

Have you ever wanted to add your own stories to exhibits and specimens on display in the museum? Work alongside our team to write and display your own creations in the museum for everyone to enjoy.

Location & Time: Beaty Biodiversity Museum 10:15am – 11:30am and 12:45pm – 2:00pm.

Families with proof of registration (wristbands) can also drop-in anytime between 10:00 – 5:00 to enjoy our regular programming

Celebrate Family Day weekend by bringing your entire family to the third annual Kids Takeover UBC on Sunday, February 16. This UBC Family Day tradition has its roots in Takeover Day, which is a celebration of children and young people’s contributions to museums, galleries, arts organizations,
archives and heritage sites first launched in the UK. Kids and youth will take on adult-sized roles on the UBC campus, working alongside staff and volunteers to promote arts and culture. Be sure to mark your calendar and grab tickets for the entire family.

Tickets:

There are two types of tickets available: family and individual passes. Each family pass covers 2 adult and 2 kids (under 12), along with a $10 food voucher. Tickets are limited so purchase yours now and

Family All-Access Passes

$40 UBC/UNA/Musqueam – for families of students, faculty and staff at UBC or UNA, as well as Musqueam families.
$50 Alumni – for families of UBC Alumni.
$60 Visitor – for general public families.

Individual All-Access Passes

$10 Kids – for any kids under 12 added to an all-access pass.
$15 UBC/UNA/Musqueam – for students, staff and faculty at UBC or UNA, as well as Musqueam individuals.
$25 Visitor – for general public individuals.
