Nocturnal Book Launch, Kingfisher and Polar Bear (Event with Cash Bar)

The first Nocturnal edition of 2020 is going to be epic!

Ildiko Szabo, Collections Curator of the Cowan Tetrapod Collection at UBC’s Beaty Biodiversity Museum, and Margery Fee, Emerita Professor of English at the University of British Columbia will be talking about their new released books: Kingfisher and Polar Bear. The books will be available for purchase in our Gift Shop and authors will be signing after the talk.

Guest authors Daniel Justice and Rachel Poliquin will also be participating in the event and will be signing their books Badger and Beaver!

Adults are invited to enjoy the cash bar, which includes red & white wine 🍷, beer 🍺, and non-alcoholic drinks. Please bring photo ID! Appies and snacks will be provided!

5:00pm: Museum door open for Nocturnal with admission by donation
5:30pm: Cash bar opens
6:00pm: Talk starts in the auditorium
6:40pm: Book signing under the Whale
7:00pm: Museum tour
