‘ONLINE’ Beaty@Home Live: Museum Specimen Trivia Tour (April 7)

various museum specimen photographs in a gridTest your biodiversity knowledge in this trivia tour highlighting an assortment of museum specimens. Nancy will ask two levels of trivia questions in each of the museum’s collections so that you can choose which level(s) you’d like to answer. All ages and levels of “biodiversity geekiness” are welcome! Keep your own score for fun or just join the tour to listen and learn about a variety of life. Asking questions and sharing your own trivia about the specimens we visit is also highly encouraged. After all, the real fun of trivia is learning something that you didn’t know before!

Learn something new at the Beaty Biodiversity Museum! Join our interpreters during a weekly virtual tour, focusing on a topic of their choice. It will always be a surprise! We may walk through the museum together, showcase specimens in the lab, and/or show some great museum video and photos. We will always do our best to answer your questions. Expect a wide variety of stories that may include museum history, evolution, ecology, local diversity, biodiversity basics, and UBC Biodiversity Research.
