ONLINE Nature Club: Exciting Entomology

Entomology is the study of insects. This month we are taking a closer look at some interesting insects in the museum collection and will learn more about fascinating features of these organisms.

Like lacewings? Interested in insects? Share your images and biodiversity stories with us here, each month we will highlight some of the contributions during our online session.

Materials for Nature Club:

  • You can print or download this scavenger hunt to help you record which orders (groups) of insects in BC that you find and observe outside. You may not find every order, but you can keep adding checkmarks over several years if you like! Download the insect scavenger hunt here (pdf).
  • Have paper and colouring pencils or crayons handy during the program.
