Spring Break: Skeleton Art!

Let’s explore museum specimens to create a unique inside/outside watercolour painting using a “crayon resist technique”. Search for fascinating skulls, bones, and skeletons of animals in the exhibits and touch some bone specimens that we’ll bring out. Or you can also choose any structures under the outer layers of any living thing such as the veins of leaves or parts of invertebrates. We’ll start inside the museum to draw the inside parts in crayon and go to another area to watercolour paint the outside layers.

Arrive at 12:00 pm sharp for this activity!

*Weather permitting, a portion may be outside – please dress accordingly.
