Salmon Arm, British Columbia
Many migratory birds in British Columbia are found in Central BC in summer. As an avid nature enthusiast and eBird contributor, I visited Salmon Arm, BC this BC Day and counted the various species of migratory birds and the numbers of each species. The results were great. My favorite migratory bird was the Osprey (Pandion haliaetus). They are found all across BC in summer and migrate to Southwestern US in winter. The osprey in the photo landed on the pole after checking out its nest nearby.
