Many people, even those at UBC, don’t know that we have a fossil lab.
Our collection of fossils in the museum is large, but many are not catalogued. That is where the fossil lab volunteers are stepping in. We clean and prepare specimens, identify them, and list the fossils in our ever growing catalogue.
Once the fossils are organized, they are useful for public display, museum programs, and for research. Come and check out our collection!
