Planet Earth is an amazing place, filled with volcanoes, glaciers, minerals, and oceans, along with millions of species of organisms. The Beaty Biodiversity Museum (BBM) and Pacific Museum of Earth (PME) have joined forces to offer two online tours to complement your science curriculum. By taking part in an Online Earth Experience, students will explore the amazing natural forces that shape the earth and how this has influenced the variety of insects, plants, and animals around us.
This new combined online booking option allows your students to virtually explore two great UBC museums, and enjoy two amazing online school experiences – for one low cost! Customize the experience to fit the needs of your students by selecting:
- Either the BBM ONLINE Museum tour or ONLINE Beaty Box Program* / (60 minutes)
*Note that an additional fee applies for a Beaty Box rental

- ONLINE PME Program (60 minutes – all ages)

Availability & Fees
This popular program offers flexible availability. The BBM and PME programs can be offered during any of the museums available booking times. The programs could be on the same day, or on different days, but you must make your selection at time of booking. Both programs must be booked and delivered within the current school year. Please scroll through the BBM and PME calendar to find upcoming dates that are still available.
The fee for the program is $100 (including tax) which includes an online program at each museum. This fee is payable online with Visa, Mastercard, or Interac Online at the time of booking confirmation and must be completed before your first online tour. If you choose an Online Beaty Box Program, we highly recommend renting a Beaty Box – the Beaty Box rental fee is in addition to the Online Earth Experience fee.
