Beaty Nocturnal – Forest Photography Online with Michael Spagnut

Forest Photography Online – a talk by Michael Spagnut

Online photo groups have brought insight into the beauty of forest photography. A collection of landscapes, forest interiors, and animal and plant images gives the impression of complex ecosystems. The interiors of global forests make them unique habitats for plant and animal life. The first half of this presentation by Michael Spagnut will address forest ecosystems. The second half is a collection of macro photographs of mostly insects and small animals in tropical forests contributed by Paul Bertner, a UBC graduate student.

Michael Spagnut is the administrator of the Ancient Forests photo group on Flickr.
