Ride-hailing services at UBC

Designated “Ride-hail Spots” for Pick-up and Drop-off: To improve safety and manage the expected additional vehicles on campus, curb space has been allocated for pick-ups and drop-offs within the central academic campus. These locations are called “ride-hail spots” and are identified with signage to help users find their pick-up or drop-off location. When users request a trip within the central academic campus, the operator’s app will automatically direct you to the closest designated ride-hail spot.

A map of designated locations is shown below along with an example of the signs that are installed at each ride-hail spot.
