Visit the Beaty Biodiversity Museum in person for a professional development day. Learn how we can support your lessons with curriculum links in our exhibits, activities, and programs.

The Beaty Biodiversity Museum is a great place to take your class. Whether you teach elementary, secondary, or post-secondary, your lessons can be supported by our exhibits, activities, and programs. Learn about the onsite and digital opportunities available to your school at the museum, and the offerings we have for this year.

K-12 teachers and all other educators, including home-learning facilitators, librarians, early learning specialists, pre-service teachers, and post-secondary faculty, are welcome to attend this professional development day.

It’s a paleontology party!

Join the celebration as we launch Footprints in Time. Be a dinosaur detective as you explore fossil sites in British Columbia’s Rocky Mountains and look for traces of dinosaurs and other ancient life. Footprints in Time is an online educational resource that showcases stunning immersive panoramic environments and footage from the field. Aussi disponible en français!

Check out our new Ancient Life Beaty Box and get hands-on with some fantastic fossils! Beaty Boxes are outreach kits with touchable specimens, information about UBC research scientists, and hands-on activities that explore biodiversity. Discover the connections between ancient life and the biodiversity we see around us today.
