Get Hands-On During Spring Break

Looking for activities to do with your family and friends over Spring Break? The Beaty Biodiversity Museum has planned a suite of biodiversity programming from March 15-30, 2014. Every day during Spring Break, the Beaty Museum features a different activity open to participants of all ages at 12:30 p.m.

Spring Break programs are brought to you by volunteers, staff, curators, and special guests. Meet new friends while exploring different aspects of the biodiversity around you. From identifying your backyard neighbors, to art, games, crafts, and hands-on activities, you’ll be a biodiversity pro in no time.

Do you love games? Stop by on Tuesday, March 18 to learn how to play Phylo. If art is more up your alley, on Wednesday, March 19 you can sketch from the collection, then meet the artist behind the museum’s Remnants exhibit. Get familiar with microbialites on Sunday, March 23 and explore for aquatic creatures on Tuesday, March 25.

These are just a few of the museum’s exciting programs, check out our website for the full listing of Spring Break activities.
