‘ONLINE’ Beaty@Home Live: British Columbia Shellfish

Warm summer weather always draws us outdoors to explore the beaches or go for a swim. Almost everyone finds interesting shells to look at but do you know their names? Have you ever eaten clams or mussels; or, perhaps you are more familiar with eating crabs or shrimp? Join Sheila, Museum Interpreter, for this virtual tour based in our Discovery Lab to learn about some of our amazing local BC shellfish, with some tips on how to identify them. Click here to register!

This specimen-focused chat with a museum interpreter is recommended for visitors of all ages! If your child hasn’t used zoom before, or needs help with typing, occasional support from an adult or older sibling may be helpful. You’ll have opportunity to ask questions if you join us live!
