Volunteer with the Beaty Biodiversity Museum

The Beaty Biodiversity Museum is looking for passionate individuals who have a few spare hours a week to join our volunteer team.

Volunteers play a vital role in helping the Beaty Biodiversity Museum to help enhance the public’s understanding and appreciation of biodiversity, as well as to make the research conducted by the scientists of UBC’s Biodiversity Research Centre relevant to the public.

The Museum is currently seeking volunteers to fill the roles of Museum Educators and Events Assistants. Museum Educators engage museum visitors in the wonder of biodiversity through a variety of activities, kids programs, museum specimens and storytelling. Events Assistants provide support during a wide range of museum special events, including lectures and evening functions.
